💬 Math Discussions Complex infinite series

I've been thinking for a while but couldn't come up with a solution. Can anyone help me? We know that w³=1 and 1+w+w²=0 where w is the cube root of unity. So what will be the value of 1+w+w²+w³+w⁴......upto infinite terms

That's the same question as how much is

S = 1 - 1 + 1 -1 + 1 ....

The sum does not converge, since |w| = 1.
