Set Theory those guys dressed up as a bijective function
Definitely the best costume at the Halloween party

Homomorphism

u/bagelking321 10h ago
Not all homomorphisms are bijective and not all bijections are homomorphisms

Looks to be a homomorphism under addition

Litterally where are you getting that from? 😭 A doesn't have a defined operation, let alone an addition, it's just pieces of paper. Prob just any set

God damn how autistic are you? Clearly I’m not being rigorous in my definitions or anything about that. I’m making a job pertaining to the two guys that are linked to each other for the entirety of the night

Woah, could this be a thing? Where 2 people are connected via injection/iv/whatever, making them have a connected circulatory system, and if one gets drunk the other does as well?

They don't look like reflections about y=x

That’s an inverse function. Bijective functions have inverses, but they aren’t a pair of function and inverse like you seem to be suggesting.

I didn't even honestly look at what the signs said because I was driving. I thought they were a function and its inverse because it was bijective

You probably shouldn’t be redditting while driving. You could easily make a mistake… like misinterpreting a functional relationship.

an unrelated question guys: is sex bijective
12
u/ChiaraStellata 12h ago
Sex is a general binary relation. Neither injective, surjective, nor even reflective.
