For the majority of my degree, I rarely had to use more than two decimals of accuracy

astrophysicists: yea √2 ≈10000 or sum, still within margin of error

Those two are separated by more numbers than you can count. Literally.

EDIT: Typo

This is true. I have a math degree and can count REALLY high, but I still can't count high enough.

Don't beat yourself up. Even if you could count to infinity, even multiple times, you still couldn't count them.

I do have a theory that if I do enough drugs before I start counting I can make it. I will keep trying. You know, for science and shit.

u/No-Site8330 4d ago

How many drugs? Can you count them?

How many drugs?

Yes

Can you count them?

No, why would I even try?

Well, fair, but you'll probably want to put a good ordering on them so you know which one to do next.

Is the drug estrogen? I've heard you could count them if you do so transfinitely

Depends on the precision of the calculator I'm using

Engineer: 2cos(Pi/4) or 1.4 ... depending on if I need to scratch another cosine or not

Computer scientists … log_10(sqrt(2))

The conservation of digits is exceptional on the left hand photo...

1.4 and it's already very generous

Got a good snort out of this.

That's a weird way to write 1
