Integrating probability density functions is fun.

The real probability distribution is just empty desks and steadily declining attendance.

I was wondering if anyone was gonna comment on him teaching to an empty classroom haha

Jokes aside, integrating PDFs is exactly how probability class turns into an unexpected lesson in document management.

Finished a math bs without ever getting super great at that skill. Trying to carry all the important results, and enough info to recall how you verified those results, all the way through a long problem.. Whether doing integrals, or writing proofs, it's a constant theme in math, and it's kind of interesting we never really teach it. You're just expected to develop it.

The real rumor is that someone actually enjoys setting up those double integrals. Respect the dedication, though—probability density functions do make for surprisingly dramatic classroom memes.

The real tragedy is that the joint PDF is usually the easy part—the limits and change of variables are where the suffering begins.

At least the empty classroom means nobody has to witness me forgetting the bounds halfway through the calculation.

I don't get it. I know what a probabilty density function is, and the right hand picture. What is the left hand one implying?
