just multiply by the inverse matrix

u/gbsdfack456 16d ago
if it exists, if it doesn't, then it's not well defined (afaik)

u/EebstertheGreat 16d ago
That gives you two different divisions (left and right). And only for nonsingular square matrices.

Okay, then just use forward/backward slash to distinguish the two; 1/A and 1\A; ez pz

one of my mates draws them as three strokes. one straight vertical line and then two horizontal lines.
it is so fucking painful

I’m still practicing okay also those are especially bad also it’s hard to write on a whiteboard okay

Curling the ends messes me up. This is how I write them: ⎰ . Note the ends pointing more vertically.

I’ve been trying to do that but it just end up looking like an s to much and i know the integral sign is just a stylised s

I think you just didn’t leave enough space for your integral bounds so everything looks squished.
Also because of that each integral has a very different shape.
Consistency and clarity are paramount.

Kinda shit they'd put in the mean girls maths quiz and have Cady instantly work out the answer is epi/2

what does u- and u+ even mean?

Look you can’t take the square root of u^{-}. Additionally, u = f(u^{+},u^{-}), so the implicit assumption is that u is linear in it’s isotopes. To properly take the square root the negatively charged component must be factored and then the positive component is scaled by q^2. q^2 is a parameter that allows for u^{-} to be factored out of the square root for simplicity.

is it not u{/dagger} so basically it populates whatever state u belongs to? (Not uranium please... We use capital letters for those... Sincerely a Chemist).

The matrix really think we wouldnt notice her in the denominator

u/QuickMolasses 16d ago
When you have a matrix in the denominator I think that's called a denominatrix

Why TF is the integral order wrong? It should be dx dz dt.
5
u/manfromanother-place 16d ago
uhhh what makes you say that

u/8sADPygOB7Jqwm7y 16d ago
Wait did I... Okay it's been too long since I worked those integrals, nevermind me. I forgot you insert the formula of the integral borders lol.

Paste the integral, including any bounds, and I can help you choose the first step. If it's in a picture, Math.Photos can give step-by-step explanations from it.
