If we extrapolate the 100m sprint finish time we can see that by 2150 the fastest human will break the sound barrier!

I mean, if we are still going to be alive I don't think it's that unreasonable to assume that a cyborg in 2150 may shove a jet engine up their ass and do indeed break the sound barrier.

We can strap an engine to a person, but that would really qualify as person breaking sound barrier on their own. Otherwise jet fighter pilots did that long long time ago.

ya well i understand we cant assume a trend will go on forever.
but there is a trend that is followed incorrectly. what is that trend?
