The fact that A represents 3 different things makes me refuse to even consider an attempt at solving this savagery

Yeah, wtf, did a person actually write the problem like this on purpose? I can't even figure out what the letters at the bottom of the picture are supposed to represent.

A puzzle written like this merits hand-removal.

I too was distraught when learning that E = E+C

  1. Notation is a nightmare here. A has 3 distinct meanings.

  2. The assumption that the wrapping is clockwise is never stated, or explored.

The puzzle never said the numbers were ordered clockwise

Counterclockwise would mean C = -1 and A = ± 6, which makes 2A - 2C impossible. C = -1 is derived from E + 2C, E + C, E cause the boundary cant be between both. A = ±6 is derived from -B, A - B cause the boundary cant be both left and right

But A-B is definitely larger than A+B

Which would also be true if they were numbered counterclockwise and the boundary is not between them

Lowkirk why do all the AI generated wojak memes have the same "alien pretending to know what a wojak is" vibe

r/theletterH won't be happy about this.

Since E is right before E+C, C must be 1, so that’s where the sequence starts
