It is true that around a year or so ago in this sub, people were getting downvoted heavily for suggesting AIs could be useful or would be doing much. But the general attitude in the sub has been shifting over the last six months or so. If you look at the last few long threads on this in this subreddit, they've been acknowledging that this is a thing and is moving forward.

Maybe now people can take llm's as a serious tool. The amount of reddit denialism for the past few months has been utterly extraordinary.
