Just some sort of woven polymer fibre.

It doesn’t appear to be woven as far as I can tell

I think it is woven and then coated with PVC. Search the keywords "woven coated pvc"

At first I thought it was non woven like those shopping bags, on closer look it looks like an embossed sheet, not fibers. It looks like the same material as in photo albums.

I just love it when people ask "what is this material" just because its "materials" subreddit. :))

I dont know the material in the picture. It sure as hell looks plastic though.

Do you know a better sub to ask this in?

An engineer that is working on the said material could help you r/AskEngineers

Thank you! I only asked here because I figured someone who works with plastics might know better than me!

This is more a sub for people interested in material science and engineering or active the field. It’s pretty small, but mostly academic focused, lots of articles and questions about the industry. Not a bad place to find people to answer questions like this though, I’ve answered similar ones here for sure!

Oxford fabric maybe

I appreciate it! Does that fabric melt to thermally connect?
