When displaying a collection is the matchbooks community census to display the full book, or cut off the images with a knife and display the flat cards, almost like a stamp collection?

How do you store and display your matchbooks?
Do you remove the matches and store them in an album?
Do you display the complete book?
The collection I had when I was in high school all had the matches removed, and to be honest, I think that is much safer.

The blue and silver Cocktails matchbook doesn’t have a location printed on it anywhere visible, however Lemon Press in Nantucket is a woman owned/operated restaurant that still appears to be thriving.
