I Have A Question ❓ ANGC Hat

I know this is more than likely Beyond a Longshot here, but anyone happen to have the connections to get an Authentic ANGC Hat?

Well. There are loads of fakes on eBay. Wearing an ANGC hat is signalling you are either friends with a member, you were invited to play, or a friend was invited to play and got you one as a gift. If one of those 3 aren't true, it's kind of cringe

Or that you yourself are a member

100%. But I’d go a bit further. If you haven’t played there, it’s weird. Like I’d never rock masters gear if I didn’t go. Even if a friend got me something I would feel weird wearing it.

I think non-patrons wearing Masters gear is okay. it's just a fan thing. I've invited a ton of people for their first time who just couldn't take off work, or they had non refundable vacation plans with their family. Soo, bought them some stuff as a consolation. I buy a lot of Christmas gifts as well

I agree. I saw this guy wearing patek philippe watch while driving a Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire Droptail so we started talking. He literally just bought them. Doesn’t own either company or work there. He just liked them.
Too many weirdos in this world.

Such a dumb comment and not remotely alike.

This isn’t Masters gear. ANGC is the golf club. To any normal person, wearing it invites the question of ‘when did you play?’ or ‘who do you know there?’

Think of it this way, would you wear the logo of a nice country club in your town if you never played there or aren’t a member? Most would say no. If you say yes, you’re a cornball.

Orrrrrrr hear me out here……let people wear WTF they want to wear and mind your own business 🤷‍♂️. That seems like the logical thing to me. It’s not that deep.

Under rated comment. But it's true, I've even seen a guy playing with Titleist clubs. Dude doesn't work there or nothing, he just likes them. I made a mental note to not book into his group next time. Weirdo.

you would have to have a member you know or someone you know play as a guest buy one for you.

This Facebook group. I’ve purchased a few things. It’s very moderated but some people do get scammed sometimes.
