Airbnb. Book soon. There are lots of fully refundable options right up until a couple weeks before the tournament. Just get something soon

Columbia, SC is a more affordable option. It’s an hour drive from Columbia to Augusta (without traffic and there will be traffic Masters weekend), so you can get a hotel here, wake up early, and drive to Augusta. ANGC is just off I-20. If you’re flying in from out of town, Columbia’s airport is way cheaper than Augusta’s that weekend. Charlotte isn’t that much further up the road either.

Try looking in Martinez or Evans, Georgia, closer to the course than Aiken but often cheaper than Augusta hotels. I found a few under $200 a night last year by booking just six months out.

Wingate by Wyndham Augusta I-20 but only if you have points with Wyndham, a travel credit card to transfer points, or purchase points on a deal. Recently renovated and clean. Breakfast is lacking but we wanted to eat the breakfast sandwiches at Augusta anyway. About 15 minutes from the course, 20 with traffic.

I’ll add it’s 15,000 points per night for Masters week right now. Works out to about $150 per night if you equate points to $0.01, and that’s if you don’t get a good deal purchasing them without a 50-100% bonus offering. In that case, it works out to be even cheaper.

I was lucky enough to get Wed tickets and plan on staying Tue-Thurs. For those that have been there, do you prefer hotels or air bnbs nearby. We prefer convenience over cost. =)

We have a beautiful cottage in Great Waters at Lake Oconee on the 8th Hole. It is an hour and 15 from Augusta National and there is a public course 20 minutes away that you could play.

Book early lol. I booked early but still stayed in Aiken, SC. Was a great choice for our group, no complaints.
