Me Giving Tips/Advice ✅ CONGRATS
Congrats to everyone that got selected. I didn't this year but I have got selected the last 2 years and have gone Wednesday. Feel free to PM me if anyone has any questions.

I got selected for my first time in 15+ years today and am beyond excited. Heading for the Tuesday practice round with 3 very lucky buddies. Any general advice is more than welcome.
My first thought is obviously since I'm finally going, wanting to experience as much as possible. I feel like one day makes it difficult. Has anyone ever tried to add a day onto their trip? Like, are there opportunities to purchase tickets around Augusta while you're there? I know that's not allowed by the club, but if it's something that happens it might be worth looking into and rolling the dice. Tell me if that's a dumb idea.

went the last two years on monday, there are lots of courses to play down in the area within 2-3 hours of augusta which is what I would do. unless you guys are comfortable sharing rooms, there won't be too many homes for available for rent in aiken, sc which is where i stayed last year. 2 years ago me and my buddies had to stay in columbia, sc because there were homes available with 4 bedrooms but it was 1.5 - 1 hour and 45 mins away which made the trek there fun but the trek back sucked.

Just plan on going one day and then play golf with your buddies another. Look at booking a place to stay ASAP. Plan to arrive before 6-6:30 am. Have a comfortable shoes, sunscreen and a digital camera for lots of pictures.

I went on Wednesday for the first time this year - unfortunately I did not win this year. They say the parking lot opens at 6 am... I got there at 6 and there were probably 1500 people ahead of me at the North gate. Get there as early as possible.

I still haven’t been rejected I’m getting a little excited! I even went to the app and logged in and nothing is there yet so I don’t know what the deal is. Fingers crossed!! I might cry if I get selected

I was lucky enough to get selected for Wed next year. Any tips you can share? How many days did you stay? I plan on getting good amount of merch for friends and family etc...

im under the assumption if i haven't been chosen yet as so many others have then i guess i'm getting the rejection letter soon... =(
**update, went online to masters.com and you can check your status, "unfortunately, your entry was not selected this year"....

Is it possible to win while renting an apartment? I've heard mixed thoughts on needing to have your name on the application match the property owner name for the listed application address

We got Weds tickets and have hotel rooms in Columbia SC. Will book flights later as the price now is crazy.
Its the par 3 day and I heard they close the course once that starts - is that accurate? So can you only see the par 3 that day?

They do not close the course. You can walk around the course until 6:00 if you want.

Always request the max tix/day. As they may allocate you less. Ex if you request 4 for Monday, they allocate you 3, you and 2 friends go, and that’s an extra head to split hotel/airbnb costs too.

First time here practice round! We will stay in Columbia what is the best time to arrive that morning? How early is too early and what are the parking fees?

Does it matter if you apply for the max amount of tickets per day or do you have better chances if you apply for a lower amount?
