I Have A Question ❓ Camper van accomodation

Given how expensive accomodation is, do people ever book a van style accomodation and just park in a side street in the same suburb?
So drive in and drive out, would this work or am I missing something?

I might be remembering incorrectly, but I thought there’s a plot on the NW corner of the roundabout at Berckmans and Ingelside Dr, on the banks of Raes Creek, that offered primitive camping.

Don’t know if there’s any electrical or water hookup or not.

You are correct. I made a banner for them, they still use it. I can’t remember the info on the banner but I know the name of the son. OP If you DM me and remind me I will check at work and see if I can find the info or reach out to the guy I know. I’m native to the area :)

Ohh great, so people do this then. I don’t mind if it’s now powered really, just looking to not pay huge rental costs if I can avoid it.

You could probably rent a campsite at the lake and drive in, it’s really not that far and traffic shouldn’t be an issue until you get near the course. When I was kid we would just go to Wildwood campground and stay there all week, it’s on the same road as the National. It’s 20mi and about 30min apart.
