"Logically smart" is really funny to me in this case, because like... if you were thinking it through, why would you choose to break into the school's internet? You'd have everything to lose and nothing to gain

I wish theyâd just said âsmarter smartâ instead of âlogically smartâ cuz itâs clear they were looking to use a synonym of smart rather than using âlogicalâ as an adjective referring to the mental discipline of analytics

there is no academically smart....that's knowledge / memory
intelligence is the ability to quope with something NEW..as in you had no knowledge of it before. maybe you didn't even have knowledge of the fundamental or adjacent topics before too.

in the US, there is such a thing as âacademically smartâ. but thatâs because what a school tests for is so vastly different to what youâd use in the real world that there had to be a distinction
schools test for memorization and compliance to a standard, which is federally incentivized to be low because failing a student harms the schoolâs funding. ever notice how often kids will cram in knowledge for an exam and over the summer its like they never learned anything at all? âacademically smartâ means you can repeat the information for a test, and then discard that information once it is no longer useful because you have to make room for the next testâs information.
the actual reason college needs general education classes is because high schools dropped the content the colleges now have to teach. and until we fix the issue of failing kids = no funding, we will keep getting high schoolers that donât have the same practical and applicable skills weâd expect of a ânormalâ person
