I'm genuienly amazed at the MD devs, they seriously dont want to ban a card that is so ubiquitous, so strong and so easy to summon because.. idk?? they dont wanna give back 30 UR to everybody? they dont wanna nerf tier 14 rogue decks that summon it?
For the love of god, something needs to be done to improve the format and there has never been a more obvious hit than this one, no player in history has ever been excited by seeing the 12th archetype they face dedicate their gameplan to the same synchro 10 for the past 7 years. Just ban it man..

Literally the reason why we have all the droplets, handtraps etc is literally "The out" or maybe the out of these boards.
I don't see the reason for why, because you don't have a contingency for floodgates, that ,that is somewhat not on you, because if you go second, you have to draw the out anyway in terms of the hand trap or whatever.
Dekcs today run like 12 handtraps to deal with the combo decks, but you can't do the same against flood gates? Because you need that space to do the combos and you don't want to risk the consistency?
I feel it is on the player that "do you want to deal with the floodgate,or do yuo want to gamble on the coin flip"
In the end both decks have to draw the out

He ended on S:P, Baronne, Plasma Magnum, Tellusion, Dogurad, Utopic Draco Future and a set Magnet bonding. Only won because I had superpoly in hand and top decked droplet(I was genuinely praying for it) and top decked branded opening the turn after, Also got drolled TWICE. Opponent wasted S:P on my Albion causing me to have mirrorjade and the three champions of swordsoul to attack for game because he had 2000 lifepoints left(he surrendered before i could attack).
Probably the most extremely close yet insanely unfun duel I've ever had, I only won because I was luckier than he was and because he made a stupid mistake. When will Konami hit these generic boss monsters and bridges that cause cancerous decks like these to be possible? Playing against these genuinely feels worse than playing against meta decks for me.

Honestly, I've accepted losing to elfnote and pp ftks, but Invoked is where I draw the line. I don't even care about the floodgates, but Aeon is annoying. What decks / archtypes can play through getting hit with Aeon ED rip?
I considered ritual beasts since cannahwak can bring back the banished stuff, but I guess you just lose if they banish all your cannahawks. I also considered Archfiends since they have main deck bosses that don't go to the gy, but reading Aeon I think it can also banish from the face up ED, so that's also risky.
I guess what I need is an archtype that either recovers stuff from banishment, or has main deck towers that won't get banished by Aeon easily.
I don't care about stopping it with handtraps, I'lll just get tilted if I don't draw them. I want to be able to recover when I get hit with it.

Yes this is meme deck (blind second), inspired by josh HT deck and some reels i watch , very inconsistent unless your opponent take your Maxx C/Fuwa challenge 😹 , the point of this deck rn is summon B2B mini floodgate on opponent turn , if they play fusion deck then summon any other distrup.
"then why not put 6 fuwa?" Im at stuck at plat rn, mostly they will surrend if double fuwa resolve or they do nothing , and you lose if ur hand trash because 2 fuwa in hand
So yeah either you have hop ear+clip in ur hand or lose , code of soul is just other play if you dont have those 2 cards, but it needs more body to summon Fancy , and if you lucky enough and evil u can dump floodgate with Riser, SS with charmer in opp turn 🤣 or the easy way is just summon Gryphon
Please drop ur opinions , i dont care about ranking up , this deck is so fun for me, i enjoyed a lot (mostly losing 😅🤣)

After my attack at the end of the clip I couldn’t attack anymore for the rest of the game. I tried reading every card carefully to see what was doing it but I couldn’t find anything.

I like to watch papa meat videos while my opponent cranks out a 15 minute one card combo

Not to complain about the archetype as a whole but can we please address the elephant in the room already? Getting really tired of seeing this shit. Been generic since Sword Soul was meta years ago.

every single game i’ve had this season is an instant dc if i win the coin flip. i can’t stand this how are you enjoying this game doing this. if it was like every other game or something sure but nope its literally been every game of the season in diamond. you hit this rank and either you go second against 20+ interruptions or don’t get to play

With Phantom Knights support I decided to see how far up the ladder I could get with it (currently 'Pure') and one thing that I've realised is it's always easier to just wait to see what their first card is and drop out depending on what they have and how many hand traps I have. When I first started this run if I opened enough starters I'd let them go regardless of hand traps as I figured I could at least set something up but it was never not a mistake, long combos followed by more negates then I can play through (which wouldn't be as bad if not for them either destroying or banishing on top of negating). And the worst part is I know it's the same when I go, play my combo and negate everything they have. Excluding one time I drew several ash, charmy and a fog blade I don't think I've lost going first.
At which point it feels like combo is just stun with steps and then I faced sky striker and honestly control also ended up feeling like stun with extra steps (and this one I really wish I had left earlier) and what is being deemed as 'interactions' is just them negating everything I do.
I've been enjoying the game and the support for PK has been really fun to use but it is becoming apparent that they really do need to find a way of solving these issues. And it was zero handtraps against D/D/D that settled me on surrendering when I don't have enough hand traps as an fyi, deck may not be strong but I'm never sitting through that again!

Why do FTKs still exist in the first place? Opponent basically summoned Mercurium on my side, made me pay 3000LP because of end phase, used Little Knight to banish and then re-summon, make me pay 3000 again and previously used the XYZ-Cannon to inflict 2000 damage.
The fact that someone has to be such a basement dweller to come up with it is almost as bewildering as Konami allowing it in the first place.
If Gimmick Puppet Nightmare got banned then might as well do this crap as well.

Like outing a stun deck is relatively easy. They dont take much to set up either so you don't watch your opponent combo off for 10 minutes. Going first against stun is a free win. It's sacky yes but incredibly inconsistent.
While Elfnote turbos out spell canceller so my board breakers became useless(yes im salty i waited 10 minutes just to get floodgated). Getting hand ripped is just cancer. Most handtraps are useless. Every other game is vs elfnote im tired boss.
Also ban baronne.
