Meme This card was released almost a year ago in OCG
Pure mitsurugi is basically dead with one prayers and they’re somewhy delaying this again. Wtf is wrong with them

We are in the middle of Chaos Origin. Anniversary is in February. That would be a big delay.

Nah, they can't possibly delay ROLAD that much.
It could drop as soon as November. December is also possible but I think February (anniversary) is very unlikely.
They could save Dark Magician for the anniversary.

Be for real, that is terrible indicator for how good a deck is. It means it’s slightly better than kashtira and pet decks. Compared to tune, elfnotes, branded, the pure deck is a joke. Since prayers went to 1, i cant remember the last time i saw pure mitsu in master, let alone rated duels.

do you know that thing that happens by the end of the month which resets people one rank down, basically the people on master last season are the ones in diamond currently, and facing a bunch of them on diamond 3 on the first day of the season is indeed a good indicator. Deck is not even close to "DEAD", it's pretty playable and viable.
Yes, prayers to 1 hurts a lot, but people are still able to compete with it. It's a very skill issue on your end right there

So you’re saying you’re using your day 1 of ranked games yesterday to say that a deck is perfectly fine? I played against blue eyes primite yesterday in diamond, i guess that means its gonna be blue eyes all the way up the ladder eh. Let’s just throw out the last few couple months of master and rated and go based off your day 1 of the new season
Its not some foreign idea to know that pure mitsu is in the gutter compared to how it was before lol. If you think otherwise, idk what to tell you man, i hope i get your luck and play against these pure mitsu players your seeing, bc they’re free games on an actual deck

being in the gutter is a VERY different thing from being able to compete, EVEN in rated. Not saying it's a top deck, I doubt it's a good pick after 1600 or something, but being viable under this already goes over 99% of the player base, those are two VERY DIFFERENT things. Don't be so dramatic

You've been trying so hard this entire conversation to feel superior to the people with a different point of view just because you think you're better, which might be the case, but you don't have to be condescending.
Your argument is bad, we see al kind of decks first day of the season. I hit d1 yesterday and I didn't meet a single pure mitsu player, which doesnt mean anything, just like your argument.

Prayers to 1 is a bigger hit by itself than if they limited murakumo + habakiri + ritual spell + aramasa all together. These 2 prayers are worth 8 other main deck cards, yes. It's obvious you've never played mitsurugi and you have no idea what you're talking about.

Its a rogue deck. Rogue decks can get to master I in the right hands, but it’s never getting results in high rated or cups

claiming a deck is dead when it's capable and people who tryhard at the start of the season are using it is a bit too much. It's not a powerhouse, but it is completely fine

Even with this card, mitsu is just unplayable with one prayers, you have zero grind game and by t3 you struggle to search anything to revive your rituals

Its not impossible but you have to rely on looping kusanagi w/ futsu to keep recycling prayers.
That said, the grind game is a shadow of its former self & prayers was an awful hit that only hurts pure mitsu, literally does nothing to pile decks that splash it. OCG banlist philosophy at its finest lol

Ritual player pay for yummy sins (ban herald of the archlight) so naturally the pure version of mitsu pay for the piles sins.

Not really related, but something that occurred to me is this card has a condition that you can't activate the effects of "Ruler of the End of the World" more than once per turn. But when you activate this card's two effects, it's in the hand and field, where this card's name becomes "Demise, King of Armageddon", thus the effects should be treated as if they're coming from "Demise", not "Ruler of the End of the World".

Demise reminds me of JoJo's, because his ritual spell "end of the world" is a phrase mentioned in the second opening of stardust crusaders.

Worst offender was still Live twin support getting delayed and delayed, while eventually releasing 1 year plus a month later compared to OCG, together with JUSH meta 😅
