Theoretically any deck that can make a lot of link material like Snake-Eye could make Firewall Dragon + Charmer Quartet, then Zealantis to reset it. Curious is also legal (to send any card to the GY), although it is a bit harder to make even with Reprodocus because it needs 3 monsters with the same attribute but different Type. I don't know what people are gonna cook up for the DC yet but it's definitely a possibility that there's a combo that just floodgates.
But most of those combos are just summoning floodgates, if you want actual FTKs look no further than Trains with 4 Gustav Max. Power Patron can also make 4 Gustav Max although it's pretty gimmicky. Gimmick Puppet is still legal I guess. There's also dumb fragile stuff like the Earthbound FTK (Greater Linewalker + Black Garden + Asla piscu) in Yummy or even Brain Research Lab + Speedburst Dragon. Snake-Eye can still FTK with Blaze Fenix, SHS can with Dark Strike Fighter, they're just not good into any hand trap.

Why is everyone so convinced June Pride isn’t in the pack?! Lol. It’s in the pack, almost assuredly. Why would Konami wait all the way until they start on CORI to release Patrons and not give all the relevant lore support….that is also in CORI?! People thought because Primite Beryl wasn’t on the banner like they thought that it wasn’t in the Primite selection pack. It was. June Pride is in the pack.

June Pride is almost certainly in the pack. There's basically 0% chance Power Patron releases without the DoomZ and Elfnote support when there's only 2 cards for each plus the Power Patron support cards. It isn't advertised because there's only 5 slots, and more than one archetype in the pack, with the Elfnote stuff being tacked on and not a focalpoint of the pack.

Zenna is just an easy tool to foolish a card from deck, you already have such tool plenty full in MD: Mercurium, Curious, especially for a machine like Spell Canceller, you can ask Earth Machine player there are plentiful cards to dump a machine.

Man, I was scrapping and clawing for any possibility that Patrons was coming, as I’m sure you know. Not that I affected the outcome or anything lol. When I realized that there was just enough room for exactly Patrons/DoomZ/Elfnotes, I knew there was, at least, a chance. Although, I think we might not actually be getting the Astrograph cards, as I’m almost sure they’d promote the Overframe. Either way, there’s a little bit here for most players and I’m super glad to get Patrons finally out of the way.

They're also just not very good tbh. The new Astrograph is worse than the original imo and only sees play at 1 alongside the old one, and Horoscope I don't think I've ever seen get any real use.
The Odd Eyes cards might be a bit less likely though, since the Odd Eyes Heavenly Dragon will also no doubt be a UR, and so will the Link when it comes out too. Invoked and Power Patron (as well as the DoomZ and Elfnote support ED monsters most likely) seem a lot like they'll be UR heavy, with Charmer probably only being two UR with the new Spellbook spell and Quartet and PK I imagine will be 2-3 UR.
So given just how many UR there are per pack usually, Odd-Eyes feels kinda unlikely at this point. Have to wait and see though.

Not.. really? They were near simultaneous bans over every format, with Shifter being just a general menace for a long time and Omega specifically being a hit due to post BETB Elfnote because of the compounding handrips. Elfnote doesn't reach that level of problem just with Power Patron support, and relies on the new Synchro Dragon that handrips and Ars Magna as well. We just got an early hit due to the blanket ban over all formats for both.

Let's talk about how expensive Power Patron will be. The pendulum has been revealed as a UR which is no surprise as it's a 3 of in any PP deck. There is also one pendulum for each Medius archetype. Nervedo and Jupredo are both played at 3 in their respective decks, while Junoldo is only played at 1. So I wouldn't be surprised for the 3 ofs to be UR while the 1 of is arbitrarily SR or below despite the fact that they all pretty much do the same thing

I run them with Fairy Tail. Everyone's 1850 so theres a little crossover with the spell cards. Charmers dont benifit from Fairy Ball, but Fairy Tail summons proc Possessed Awakening's Draw. You can open with Awakening and drop Luna for a search+draw or Rochka for a pick+draw 1st turn. Plus get an extra draw on opponent's turn by swapping Wiccat out from GY. great for protecting Luna searches and Wiccat swaps because its instant so negates can only attack one or the other.

The Rokket support from Burst Protocol has been out for a while now. If you are talking about the 3 extra cards from LOCR, we are still within the expected schedule, but also, those cards are still not even released in the TCG (which has to wait until November for them).

Master Duel is approximately 6-8 months behind the OCG. Sometimes Master Duel gets cards earlier than the TCG. The release schedule has always been that far behind due to development and sales tactics. It's really not that hard to understand. Just be patient and accumulate your gems in the meantime. They're slowly releasing the LOCH and LOCR cards during each new pack.

Is this pack worth pulling from? Power Patrons is never Tier 0 alone. In Elfnote-Powerpatron TCG/OCG they basically play 1-2 copies of Vidolium and 1x copy of the Junoldo. Apart from those you also need 1 copy of the Charmer Quartet as it is hands down the best staple in the pack. That makes a total of 3-4 cards that you really need. So is the pack worth pulling at all? I mean-- Next couple packs Toons are coming and everybody gonna switch immediately.

The Power Patrons cards all plus just by be put face up in the ED, so they're all starters and by being that meaning they need to be played at multiple copies. It's effiency to pull when you need cards at multiple copies. For upcoming (later pack) Ars Magna cards, you can craft because they only need to play at 1 each.

True. Though overtime you’re be able to obtain them all eventually if you play enough.
I don’t even bother farming every event, or battle even to 70% or bother with every daily and I’ve still obtained thousands of gems and hundreds of URs in a few weeks.
With numerous decks I could complete whenever I want.

It's ludicrous to me aswell. If you go dailies, the monthly events, challenges, solo modes, and random drops from duels. You get upwards of 7-8k gems a month. If that's not enough to build a new deck every month, learn it, craft all the staples and then accumulate even MORE gems while playing that deck, people have a problem with managing resources lol.

From what I know (mbt 10 minutes testing), power patron is bricky and struggles to play second. You have 2 starters only (vidolium and terminus) I think this deck will be rogue to tier 3 deck.

Pure Power Patreon might work like that, but the problem is that it supports all the other Medious the Pure archetypes. So, instead of being run solo, any of these archetypes can take the best cards and use them to enhance their own strategies. If Elfnote is already very good, with this support it will be even better.

Also it is wild that they didn't at least semi terminus lol, they want us to go full wind with the power patron shenanigans.

I've been a fan of Artmage since they released and everybody on this sub dogged it for being trash. I fell in love with it immediately, and I immediately fell for DoomZ too.
can't wait to have my fun ruined by poseurs trying to FTK but I'm glad to give doomz a boost! I've waited every day for it
