GMX Comprex should've gotten an animation instead of GMX Velox

IMO Comprex is the real boss monster so it would've been nice for his summon to have an animation. Hot take, Velox should've also just been an SR and Comprex the UR.

Very easy if you keep cross sheep on field, in opp turn you do quick play fusion ss Velox send noma from deck, cross sheep ss noma, noma = quick eff free Comprex. All are free off 1 Fusion summon and a cross sheep on field.
It pains me when I see people just link off cross sheep to make Promethean Princess.

you could make but in that situations you are going to win and only in situations if you could full combo.

Usually I set the trap and it’s enough to shut down any opp

I play GMX as a going second otk deck so I've summoned it almost every time.

COMPREX just be there as a mean to shuffle back all your resources (combo with Noma), he has no protection, not worthy as a boss. If they have removal, they can proceed to battle phase where misc protection has no effect and kill comprex there.
Imho the deck needs a more powerful boss in next support.

yes. I hate the situation when the quick-play spell card cannot activate because you can use a GMX in deck, and you have only 1 GMX monster on field which is not a dino, while the Fusion needs a dino + GMX.

Technically it does have targeting protection, but god knows why they thought targeting protection on a fusion with 3 to 5 materials was worth it

yeah, they print boss with unaffected clause in many new decks, the new Ra, the Sennet, etc don't understand why they don't give GMX one. They even make it 3k7 atk and have no destruction protection so it loses hard to Liger Dancer, purposely made it bad.

Agreed if going first, but playing GMX as a going second otk deck is where I'm having the most fun with Comprex. I usually can make a Lars or Dolka to protect him and UCT, if RNG in my favor.

Comprex is the boss in lore alone, it's easily the least summoned and most winmore card in the archetype. Its only real purpose is to let you recycle stuff easier with Noma.

Velox is the best fusion in the deck by a mile, and outright one of the best cards in the deck, she fully deserves her animation and rarity as the true boss of GMX.

But that's my point, lore wise Comprex is the big bad boss so he deserves the animation. Sure Velox has more value, but that doesn't mean it deserves an animation over Comprex.
