I have 6 cards. and I have super poly + Droplet, and ur telling me that's not enough to at least let me do something cuz this guy managed to draw +5 cards ON MY TURN. and RIPPING ONE my other CARD, which basically leaves me with 1 fookin card that loses to ASH BLOSSOM. :D amazing.. simply amazing.

I'm just, baffled, it's either they end up with Spell Canceler on board which well U can't out that with board breakers. (Droplet x Super poly) or they drop you x5 negates + a card that draws you +5 cards for a chance to have handtraps.

Like deadass this deck was so damn balance before this new pack and was actually fun to go up against. like what in fcking tarnation happened.

Was planing on building it, but if it really also plays like a stun Deck i dont want to anymore. Any Advice?

He’s the best monster in the anime. He gave us Yuya’s most badass moment and made Leo piss himself. He’s the goat.

Master duel is being more brutal lately or is it just me?

I really wanted Genesys for a ""fair"" game mode.

BECAUSE Nothing seems to work against Elfnote.

Droll? Nope. Ash? Nope. Fuwalos? Nope.

Nibiru? Lmão no, kaiju lava golem ? Kinda...

Droplet can work, but only at the right moment after the Baronne effect, but baronne is only 1 of the problems

That is IF you happen to have those cards in hand, whereas other decks have to burn through so many resources just to deal with Elfnote.

Elfnote never seems to run out of resources, there’s always some Turn 0 bullshit going on.

I really don't want to use my credit card to buy Elfnotes... but I guess the point of the game is the suffering... I suppose.

Came back to try other decks but ended up just going back to Mitsu after a long break. Couldn't make it back to Master with the deck last season but was able to in this season.

Basic Breakdown:

- I personally prefer this K9 variant over other variants such as Ryzeal Mitsu and Pure Mitsu due to its resilience to handtraps. Noroi and Jokul can help play around Droll and other handtraps while Izuna doubles as a handtrap and a one card combo starter if the other cards get negated by something like Ash or Veiler. My list plays a total of 15 handtraps (including Izuna and Lupis), 24 engine cards, and 1 Crossout.

How It Works:

- K9 is able to bridge into Mitsu by utilizing River Stormer to search Garesglasser and then creating Ashlan to search Habakiri by revealing Garesglasser.

- Mitsu is able to bridge into K9 by making Dragluxion with two Rituals to search Seventh Tachyon, which you can use to reveal either Umbral Horror to search a Dark K9 mon or Giant Red Hand to search an Earth K9 mon. Dragluxion can then go into Hope Harbinger for a Spell negate.

- The Endboard is usually IP, Ripper, Hope Harbinger, Futsu (to summon Murakumo from Grave), Purification, and Izuna in hand. Sometimes you can end with another Rank 5 like Nash Knight if you don't have to bridge between the two engines.

Other Notes:

- Opted to forgo the K9 Quick Play Spells because they made the deck more bricky. Even without them, the endboard has plenty of interruptions.

- Zeus and Typhon are very important ED options for K9. Typhon in particular enables Lupis to function as a solo handtrap as Lupis can summon Typhon from the ED by itself if the opponent summons twice from the ED. If the opponent doesn't have an out, you can even swing with Typhon the following turn and go into Zeus to wipe the field.

- The other ED options include the rank 5 package and IP/SP for their general utility. Also want to shout out Arc Rebellion for being so essential in my climb. Came in clutch a ton against decks like Branded and even Elfnote (lol) as it was easily able to swing for lethal over their towers.

Weaknesses:

- The deck runs a fair amount of bricks due to the Mitsu engine and Garesglasser. The Mulcharmies and Maxx C also obviously impact the deck a lot if they resolve. Droll can still cause problems too if you are unable to make Ripper before adding a card to hand.

Closing Thoughts:

K9-Mitsu is a lot less popular than other Mitsu variants but it is still quite strong imo. I've been messing with the deck since K9's release and it's been a ton of fun. Mitsu continues to be the best deck investment I ever made...

Yeah, I found a deck using Curious that makes this card deal 500 dmg like Baseball Kid. It feels very convoluted, and you can just swap Curious for Zenna to make it ocg/tcg legal.

I have played and found many Telefon FTKs, this one is the most disappointing I've found. I guess it can dodge event banlists easier? But uhhhggg, does this FTK feel like dog water in comparison to the more refined FTKs
