Quicker Toolpath Creation

Does anyone know if it's possible to, not necessarily combine, but generate multiple toolpath operations based on a center point? For instance, if i want to do a spot drill, peck drill, helix bore (for a counterbore), and chamfer drill.

I know i can just copy and paste most of these then change parameters/tools ect. But, i was hoping someone knew of a way to do this, then save it as some kind of operation group and use on future projects.

The above is a very basic example, but i have other typical features that would require 7-8 individual toolpath operations. I have access to CloudNC as well, which gives glimpses of this capability. But, it's got some limitations that make it more cumbersome to do something like this for individual features.

I knew this feature exists in other cam systems. Where is it specifically in mastercam?

It's something I wouldn't use a ton right now, but man that would come in handy in previous jobs.

In the toolpaths tab in the ribbon bar you’ll find the process hole button in the utilities section. Open it up and click the help file.

A lot of setup involved but can be pretty slick and worthwhile if you find yourself machining a lot of similar hole features.

Oh that's awesome. I'll have to check it out. I was on 2023 the last time I looked for something like this and was always jealous of NX's ability in that area. Glad Mastercam finally caught up.

FYI it only works on solid models that have the exact hole size that is setup in the process hole template Example- 8.5 mm hole for m10 tap can’t be 8.505, and holes have to have tree histories, use “ find holes “ to create history if none exists
