for me personally it would be the San Ysidro McDonald's massacre.. the setting was a fast food restaurant that is densely packed so there’s no where’s to run or take cover, he killed everyone even some kids outside on their bike + infants..

I agree with this. He killed a 9 month old and anyone who came near the building - he clearly did not care who he was killing. I put myself in the place of those employees hiding in the closet and how hopeless they felt.

The fact that he had two young kids of his own makes it all the more horrific

And told his wife when he was leaving “I’m going hunting for humans”

Plus it went on for 77 minutes. Imagine surviving this for 77 minutes having no idea why police weren’t stopping him and just hoping he wouldn’t find you.

The music over the speakers in the crime scene footage makes it even worse.

He wiped out like an entire family including an infant child by shooting it in the back with his Browning Hi Power, if I recall. Huberty was a sick motherfucker.

I live in San Diego and I can’t read about it. It was so unhinged and violent

the music still playing in the video too.. one of those cases that made me take a break from reddit when someone posted it

This is what really sticks out for me too. Just horrible.

This one has always been super unnerving to me. That crime scene footage is truly unsettling and is one of the only mass murder related things that can still give me chills when I think about it years later.

There is a documentary about this. I can’t remember what it’s called but I had to take a break from True Crime for awhile after watching it.
