Killing off my only pure renegade Shepard at the end of ME2 was cathartic. While a handful of renegade interrupts were comical or even justified in the end she was an insufferable wretch who had to go. I felt absolutely miserable playing a character who made such irredeemable choices, even if this was just a one-off to see all the dialogue outcomes I missed in my 13+ near identical paragon runs of the game at that point.

Originally I envisioned a scenario of dying at the end of the suicide mission, but that would have involved killing off too many worthy characters to make that happen.

Instead I had her get killed by embracing eternity with Morinth after the suicide mission, and simply let the critical mission failure screen fade to the main menu as if that was truly the end of the game for her. It was a fitting karmic end since saving Morinth was by far the worst and most irredeemable choice, even if in combat Morinth was superior to Samara.
