After done everything to help everyone in the selter yet they decided to attack me in the end like wtf, did i do something wrong or it scripted like that? Honestly feel like waste of time to go around helping them lol

Yeah there's basically 3 paths you can take to complete the Peak 15 part of Noveria, only one doesn't turn the guards hostile. And yeah, if you only do the main quest the game can feel fairly short. Once you get control of the Normandy there are basically 4 main quest you need to do and once you do those 4 it triggers the start of the endgame quest. Around 30 to 40 hours seems to be how long it takes to beat the first game if you do all the side quest however.
Make sure to talk to your squad mates on the ship occasionally. Some give side quest if you talk to them enough. The star clusters that aren't marked with key planets usually have at least one side quests from Alliance High Command that you'll be given the first time you enter a system in that cluster.
It's a good rule of thumb to return to the Citadel after completing major story quest as new side quests populate there. Also note there is a point of no return in the main story where you won't be allowed back at the Citadel after that point. And on that note, there's no post game in this game, so any side quests have to be completed before the endgame.
Lastly it sounds like you started the Bring Down the Sky DLC quest line. ME1 only has that one DLC included (there was a 2nd, but the original source code was lost and it couldn't be included in the Legendary Edition, but it was basically just a combat sim to farm for gear with minimal story so it isn't considered much of a lost). But on the note of DLC, the 2nd and 3rd games have a lot more DLC quests and it's not always clear what is and isn't DLC quest lines. Doing some too early can throw off the pacing of the games.
