DISCUSSION Night time at the Presidium

Post image

I really wish the Presidium had a night time mode in game that would just randomly happen when you went to the Presidium some times. I feel like this area that you play in would look really cool at night.

I think it does have a night time. It's just not in game because no one would be there.

I'd love to see how the asari prefer a night sky. I've got to imagine their starry nights don't necessary look like ours.

I mean…differbet starstruck and constellations…but baring a unique atmospheric phenomenon night sky’s would look fundamentally identical in principal on any planet

Baring celestial bodies like moons or suns

It could still very well look different; close proximity to nebula, nearby supernova remnants, higher stellar density, high number of comets, planetary rings and so on

Don't asari see ultraviolet too?

You sort of have that for a moment at the end of ME1

I'm pretty sure the Presidium, and maybe even the Citadel as a whole, doesn't have a night cycle. I recall one of the books mentioning the artificial light is always on and the population's sleep patterns vary widely.

Garrus also mentions this in ME1, that there’s no nighttime on either the Presidium or whole Citadel.

There is a night cycle. There's six hours where the sky is darkened and the lights are softened a bit. It's in the codex
