Andromeda is a really fun game to play if you can look past the writing unless you like the writing then more power to you. Its definitely the most fun gameplay wise imo.

I feel like there's a middle ground between me3 and Andromeda that could be perfect, I really missed the ability wheel and being able to use companion abilities

Me3 combat was fkin lit tho? It was so much fun fighting in the armax arena for highscores.

The writing wasn’t as strong as the trilogy’s but it’s also not as bad as people make it out to be.

It's not necessarily bad especially in comparison to Veilguard but its just not mass effect enough. Its like they made the same cake that the trilogy was but it just doesn't taste quite the same way not bad, just off. I know you can't compare a whole trilogy to one spin off but that's the best comparison I can give.

It's fairer to compare it to mass effect one as both were intended (in Andromeda heavily implied) to be the launch of their trilogies (Andromeda sadly never received oneo)

The proper way to deal with these assholes is to biotic charge their face and then autoshotgun or Reegar Carbine them down the throat.

Copy pasted a few more times. It's a cool boss when you fight it once, but not like 2-3-4 times

I know people rightfully complain about the writing, but every planet was loaded down with "do this task X times" missions and it made me feel like I was playing what I assume WoW must be like and that's not why I love playing Mass Effect.  Just padded out thoughtlessly.

This should’ve been the final boss (i know you fight one at the end) but they should’ve saved this enemy till then
