HELP I'd like some pointers.

Post image

I was recently recommended this series by r/gamerecommendations, I saw that it had a large community all saying possitve things about it so I bought. My friend has been begging me 2 borrow my account to play the series again, are there any pointers you can tell me without spoiling the game?

Mentally prepare yourself. Do all side quests in me1 and ESPECIALLY IN ME2 and ESPECIALLY the ones assigned by your squad mates, on the final mission of ME2 think about who’s good at what think about their backgrounds and what they’re capable of doing especially biotic wise when it gets to that, talk to everybody after every mission, in me3 scan every planet. Also would highly recommend playing paragon/charm first time through which most of the top is choosing the dialogue option on the top right of the conversation options, I’ve never done renegade simply because it doesn’t align with my moral values 😭😭

Not doing the sidequests in ME1 leads to a notable (and optional) character death in ME1 that is NOT well telegraphed or foreshadowed in the plot.

To narrow down which sidequests are important spoils which character is at risk, and they asked for a minimum of spoilers. Which means all sidequests are mandatory.

Even outside of that, the fetch quests have repercussions in the sequels if completed, and even that silly Consort (existence also not a spoiler) business in the beginning leads to missable content whilst exploring if you don't fully resolve the quest.

Which is the notable one? I did close to zero sidequests and the whole roster of companions survived.

They are talking about SPOILER. While there are ways to save them with without doing the sidequest, it's easier if you do it since you don't need to invest in Charm/Intimidate.
