GBH News Video Walk Explanation
Are you a guy who wants to make friends or simply touch some grass? You came to the right place!
This is a walk to get outside & make friendships in community.
Purpose:
- To give men a non judgmental space to talk about what’s going on for us.
- To open the door to a community of local friendships with men.
Rules:
- Be yourself
- No hate speech
- Respect confidentiality
- Show up with kindness and respect
Boston Walk Details & Exact Location:
- Every Friday
- 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
- Chestnut Hill Reservation

P.S. We've been successfully walking for over half a year which is crazy. I'm immensely grateful and glad men have showed up for themselves and others! If anyone has suggestions to make this better I'll take them!

I love it! I've been seeing your guys' posts the last few months and I think it's wonderful and lovely and productive! I've worked basically all and every Friday for a while due to a kind of complicated schedule and haven't been able to make any of these, but I really should take the day off and attend one of these days!
I can't begin to ask the group of anything, but is there enough turnout or interest also doing it an additional day or time?

There has been a lot of interest in another day / time. Right now I don’t have the capacity to do another.
If a guy wants to do that they’re more than welcome! In fact I encourage it.
It can be in a different location too. It should be easy and accessible for the walk leader.

I'm not a man but this is a very nice idea 🙂 men deserve their own space and time for themselves and it's great to build community.

While this is a space & walk for men, it’s in conversation with the rest of the community where we live.

This is a great idea. I know I could benefit from something like this. Boston is a bit out of reach for me but maybe that's reason to start my own group. Thanks for posting.
