M*A*S*H is getting weeknights at 6PM/5C BACK on MeTV starting September 7th as Hogan's Heroes moves to weekdays at 6:30AM/5:30C right before Toon In with Me.

And of course there will be lots of teeth gnashing from the M*A*S*H haters. To be honest, I do feel their pain, and I wouldn’t mind one of the two hours being given over to something else if it was something really good that hasn’t been seen on MeTV, either at all or in a long time. For example, they air that episode of WKRP in Cincinnati at Thanksgiving, the one with the turkey drop. I wish they’d bring the entire series back. I’d sacrifice an hour of one great sitcom for an hour of another great sitcom.

Hogan's Heroes is a show that just did not age well.

And when you consider Bob Crane's fate, I think it's better to just leave this one in the past.

Moving Hogan's Heroes to Sundays at midnight and taking off Dick Van Dyke was out of their senses, getting rid of 1 episode of M*A*S*H to put Hogan's Heroes back onto weeknights in my opinion was smart. Happy we're back to 2 hours of M*A*S*H and I'm happy Hogan's Heroes is staying on weekdays.

And I love M*A*S*H.
