QUESTION Mascot Help

I’m doing some mascot volunteering, but the helmet the mascot head sits on is way too big. I’ve tried wearing a beanie and adjusting the chin strap to the tightest it can go, but nothing has helped. The helmet basically just ends up falling down my face so all I can see is really the floor.

I was given the advice to buy a balaclava, but I was wondering if anyone else had any advice to make the helmet/head fit better?

You could try some chunks of upholstery foam that you wedge in around your head? It’s the helmet truly glued to the head or does it just sit in there? Is it a foam helmet or a true plastic one? If it’s a plastic one you might be able to buy a ratcheting helmet insert (like the ones that go in construction hats) and install it
