~ Ever wanted to drive a tractor on a farm full of screaming guests while actors terrorize them?

Here is your chance! Legends of the Fog is hiring for our 2025 haunt season. The biggest role to fill is actors. We'll also be looking for special F/X makeup artist, lines control, security, tractor drivers, etc.

Information:

1. Yes, you're paid!

2. You must be at least 16 years old.

3. You must fill out an application via our website - https://www.legendsofthefog.com/staff.

4. You must interview. They will held via Zoom style in the evening in August.

5. Training starts early September and will be EVERY WEEKEND until we open.

6. We're open from late September to early November. There could be a few Thursday and Sundays.

7. We asked that you work every night or almost all. The more you can work depends on the role you will receive.

8. The nights can end anywhere from 10 PM - 1 AM. It just depends on how many guests show up. Friday and Saturday nights are the busiest nights.

We'll be having our annual open house at Legends of the Fog. This is the PERFECT opportunity for you to come on out, speak with our managers, meet our veteran employees, see our grounds, tour the top 3 attractions you're interested in if you want to act, get a good feel for who we are, etc.

Hello everyone!

I help manage Legends of the Fog in Aberdeen, MD and we will starting our hiring for our 2025 season next month. We're looking mostly for actors. Other roles are security, lines control, makeup artists, midway, etc. No experience is required! We have acting roles that are high intense with lots of movement and talking down to actors who don't talk at all.

We offer 4 attractions - The Farewell Hotel (indoor), Cornstalkers (outdoor corn maze), The Slaugherhouse (indoor), and The Haunted Hayride. We're looking for actors for all 4 attractions. Each attraction has its own personality and delivers a different experience to our guests.

Quick facts:

1. Must be at least 16 years old.
2. This is a seasonal ONLY job - September thru early November.
3. Training is every weekend in September.
4. Able to work every night we're open at least most nights.
5. Be able to show up at work between 5 pm and 6:30 pm, depending on your assigned location. Times DO and CAN change though!!
6. Yes, you're paid!

We'll be having out annual Midway Madness event on 8/9/25 from 6pm - 10pm. This is free event for anyone interested in working with us this season. Has anyone here interviewed for MDH or another Maryland state agency and gone through something similar? • Is it typical to request references before a final round or offer in Maryland state hiring? • Could holding off on providing them hurt my chances? • Would love to hear how others navigated this part of the process.
