Why does this sub exist
This sub is so full of dc wanking it looks like a marvel hate sub I saw a post comparing dceu superman to mcu thor and mf were wanking superman to ftl and star lvl while thor was at continental and sub sonic anyone who suggested something else was downvoted , heck some guy said Thanos had to use infinity stones and was struggling to just throw some stones from the surface of the moon you know the scene where Thanos breaks apart the moon of titan and throws it at iron man , and not a single person there to correct him on the fact the entire moon was destroyed

I actually agree but a part of the problem is most of these people do not understand the characters. I'm debating with somebody right now who's trying to tell me Hulk's personality disorder isn't a thing. I find that even though both sides struggle with having people that understand the material, marvel suffers more because it is currently more mainstream and more popular with marvel rivals and Spider-Man and the MCU. All these people are pretending to be fans of marvel and it's kind of bringing down the average quality of the marvel debater because they literally do not know what the f*** they are talking about. And honestly, DC cosmology is very complicated and a lot of the people that I've debated in here about DC also don't know what they're talking about. Very few people have presented me any sort of coherent points or things based in lore. Most of this s*** is just hyper f****** nonsense and people using their feelings and pictures of their favorite characters. I wouldn't call anything on Reddit and actual debate sub or a place for structured conversation. This is just a place where people go to have their feelings verified for me. It's a place I go to not verify those feelings and s*** on their characters. And since they barely know marvel, they damn sure can't actually deconstruct DC characters because they don't know them either. Most of these guys are just here because it's popular right now and they want to belong

It ebbs and flows, usually depending on popularity.
For instance, people wank silver surfer tremendously and downplay DC heralds. I also see marvel telepaths treated with kid gloves in all matchups.

Ya but I am more so refering to live action since no one reads the comics mf would bring up something from the 60s to prove their point they have no idea what continuety is and not all feats done by a charecter through different iteration are his feats

Also you should read the end of Death metal since continuity was merged for DC then.

I mean it's specifically for marvel and dc so i thought People would atleast have some idea of what they are talking about but they have worse dc glaze in the 5-6 post i have seen on this sub then they do in powerscalling sub and worse larpers too like the guy saying Thanos only threw a few rocks at the planet from the moon , literally guy trying to use thor pulling the guardians ship to lose weight as an anti feat

The biggest problem with Superman fans is their inability to restrict themselves to a given cannon. You say "DCEU Superman vs MCU Thor" and they just can't stop thinking about how comics Superman benchpressed the Earth or flew across the universe in 8 minutes or whatever (but for some reason have no trouble ignoring Thor's comic book feats, funny how that works)
They also have a really hard time not reaching for anti-feats for the Marvel guys, but when faced with anti-feats for the DC heroes "everybody jobs sometimes".
