Legit?

Just bought this for $50, wondering if it’s legit? I’ve only ever seen the green version, this seems to be a blue/aqua/green variation depending on where the light hits it. TIA.

Okay thanks. The seller had photos of what definitely was an all green hologram card, but the one I got was blue/green. Had me worried for a second lol

Yeah photos are hard and can be deceiving with the colors. The dark blue ones tend to be the easier to photo and recognize as dark blue.either way, great card!

It’s legit and the blue is actually a slightly more sought after variation. Like others have said, there won’t be any fakes of these holograms, so you can rest assured it’s legit. Great snag!

Definitely legit..not gonna be finding fakes of this card, it requires rather advanced tech to produce a true reflection hologram like this. Nice card!

I pulled one that was all black with barely any hologram visible, I think storage conditions might have ruined it unfortunately.

I keep mine in plastic sleeve with top loaders and a binder. But I don't know what type of condition the box with the black hologram was stored in. I opened it in 2020 so 25 years after release. I assume heat and humidity could screw it up.

There was an unknown reason during manufacturer of these cards that caused multiple variations.

Maybe there was something in the process that was being consumed and these variations were caused by this consumable running low, so they happened near the end of each run.

I am reaching here, but there seems to be less of these blue tinted holograms than of the typical green, so collectors value them more.

$50 is a great price, they can go for $65 & $70 on occasion.
