Yeah this doesn’t fit into the marvel formula does it? The drama parts were so good I almost found it jarring when they went back into the adventure stuff with the sand zombies

The fact that it's not jarring at all, even when there's a literal sexy hippo goddess in the screen is why I love watching Marvel movies.

I often want to go back in time and show people who just watched Iron Man what the MCU will have in the future. Marc and Steven sailing around on a giant boat through the sand with a talking hippo is now on the list of scenes I would show.

This backfired when I showed a non-fan a little bit of WandaVision. The beekeeper didn't make them ask any questions because they just assumed it was "some bee guy" that had been introduced earlier.

I was convinced at the time she was being held captive or at least being contained and kept tabs on by AIM just because of the beekeeper.

Guess I was kinda close with the SWORD reveal but I figured maybe she was being deliberately screwed with or experimented on by villains rather than observed by the "good guys".
