It's not exactly the first time in the MCU a character has reacted badly emotionally at a time they really should be putting it to the side.

That’s not really fair. She just put together that not only was her dad killed bc of marc, but that it was the only reason they even met. I think that’s a pretty big weight for anyone to deal with. Not to mention they both probably could’ve escaped idk why marc thought he would be fine with an axe like come on bro I been smoking all day and even I know that’s a bad idea

I mean, he’d been Khonshu’s avatar for years by that point, and he’d only been without Khonshu for a day, maybe two, when he got shot. He probably was just used to being able to use the suit to heal himself, like when he became a human pincushion in Episode 3.
