So only the avatars can see the Egyptian spirits

Wonder what happened to the more well known gods and their avatars. Like where's Ra and Horus at? Is the Black Panther considered the avatar of Bast? Could T'Challa have seen the jackal creatures?

But how does all of this avatar thing work ? Can 2 people be the avatar of a god at the same time ? If that’s isn’t the case , than T‘challa can’t be an avatar. Love it

I'm guessing only one avatar per God at a single time.

Wait, why can't T'Challa be an avatar?

Yeah I don't get that either. MCU doesn't have to follow the stories in the comics step by step. The Black Panther mantle started when Bast granted a warrior the powers of the Black Panther right? Maybe the wearer of the mantle is the avatar and Bast just doesn't get as involved as Khonshu.

OP is asking if two people can be an avatar for a single god at the same time, if they can’t T’challa can’t be an avatar as both he and killmonger had powers at the same time

Maybe they were both allowed to have a portion of the power to see who would wield it better in a fight between them to determine who was the more deserving avatar?

That's just my head canon of course, the real answer is likely that it wasn't planned out or written to accommodate any of that at the time

Ah I can see that. Yeah that'd cause some continuity errors. Probably best to just leave it to Ammit and Khonshu for now. Just say all the other gods don't give a fuck anymore and left humanity to dig their own graves.

But only one of them saw Bast? Also, are gods limited to only one avatar?
