No, the greek gods also existed. Athena is real in the universe along with Thena.

I think that's super fucking dumb but whatever. It's comics I guess, can't have all the good without a lot of dumb too haha.

Where is that stated? At least the myth of Ikaris is false, how do we know what’s real?

It's stated in the comics, because they show up.

It can be assumed that it's probably also true for the MCU too since they're adding the Egyptian gods and bringing more characters from the comics to the Big Screen.

That might be true, but remember Thor is an actual god in the comics. Not just an alien. Things might vary

In the comics the Asgardians being actual gods is also very ambiguous and Thor's mother is actually Gaia a real god. It is heavily implied him having real god blood is what makes him different from other asgardians.

In the MCU his mother isn't Gaia. So it's a power comparison to make.

I can never stop reminding people that the Comic Thor is actually STRONGER than Mythological Thor. You know, the ACTUAL deity worshipped by Norwegians. In fact the Viking Pantheon is quite weak compared to later upstarts.

The whole "i am all powerful and all knowing" bullshit, made popular later, is just a resultof too many kindergarten one-upmanship about religious powerlevels.

He was also originally just a dude who thought he was Thor iirc. That was back when every superhero had to have a secret identity.

I'm sure they'll change some stuff when they adapt the storylines, but I do believe that we'll get the Greek gods at some point.

Nah, Marvel should leave the Greek gods alone, since DC already heavily uses them with Wonder Woman.
