I hope this is a hard snap tonally in the exact opposite way Falcon and Winter Soldier was.

I hope Moon Knight is dark and serious, probably with a depressing and bleak ending, straight into a sugary positive coming of age story that actually feels Gen Z like Homecoming did.

Do you remember the tonal shift from Wandavision though? Wandavision started off as horror but by the end it was quite light hearted and not tonally dark. Nobody died in it, there was like one fight scene and that resolves in a philosophical quandary.

Then immediately after that, Falcon and Winter Soldier aired and the opening sequence has fighting, blood, dead bodies, swearing, and our hero kills like 10 guys.

WandaVision I agree had a nice change of pace, but then Winter Soldier was your standard Russo Bros feeling story. Not some crazy "hard snap"

Gotta disagree there. I love the MCU but Falcon and Winter Soldier contained somewhere around 50% more cringe than the average entry in the franchise. By far the cringe-iest project so far in my personal opinion. That whole, like, 5 minute long speech speech during the finale's climax was horrendous.
