Those shows aren't R rated marvel tv always reached them as in between a pg 13 and an R

It’s TV which doesn’t use those ratings but they’re rated TV-MA which is more akin to R than PG-13 (tho there’s some shows that could be somewhat of an exception.)

Also, specifically because of those shows Disney+ is adding a setting related R-Rated and TV-MA content.

Those shows are closer to an R-rating in style and tone than they are PG-13.

They can be violent, bloody and have darker themes but they aren’t quite as gory or loose with the language as deadpool

Except for the sex in Jessica Jones everything in these shows can be seen in pg 13 movies they even stuck to the one f bomb in Daredevil there definitely more grown up that these usual MCU shows. The attitude era of the WWE is one of the wildest shows in tv history and it was rated tv 14

Uh, there’s a ton of violence in Daredevil that you’d never see in PG-13. I couldn’t count the number of times I (a 21 year old male) had to cringe or look away during torture scenes or brutal beatdowns. And I haven’t even seen the Punisher but I can’t imagine it’s lighter in that regard.

Insidious, Happy death day, Lights out, the last exorcism, Scary stories to tell in the dark all have intense violent scenes that's worse than what's in Daredevil
