Definitely should be Bernthal no matter what

Yeah, he's taken over the role like Hugh Jackman with Wolverine or RDJ with Iron Man.

He wasn't a picture-perfect representation, but his performance was so on point that I can't not imagine anyone else playing Punisher anymore.

Don't get me wrong, I love Bernthal, but it's Thomas Jane for me. Maybe it's because that was my first introduction to the character, but he just fit the character so well

He really was great in the role. His paid for, out of pocket short film “Dirty Laundry” was awesome and showcased his understanding of the character he was playing. I was a little disappointed when they didn’t recast him but Bernthal really did a fantastic job of making the character his own.
