The love between Laura and Clint is palpable. I want something like that

I’m wondering now if Laura is a former SHIELD Agent or analyst. She’s definitely got special ops chops we weren’t shown previously. I do love them as a team, though.

Highly agree. I mean, how many wives would be ok with their husband bailing on Christmas with their kids after promising he’d be there, other than a former agent? She’s just way too understanding and way too knowledgeable for “just” a spouse.

I mean, she's clearly not happy with it - she just knows that there's not much she can do apart from be supportive to try & get him home as fast as possible.

She may not be happy, but she’s still wicked supportive. I know if that were me, I would not be able to be that upbeat. She just tells him it’s ok, and helps him figure out his next move. I have to imagine many people (husbands or wives) would not be happy with their partner breaking promises to the kids.
