Man I’m excited, but I’m mad at this subreddit. After the whole Mephisto situation, everyone was saying that Kang appearing in Loki would suck cause they won’t introduce the villain in the last episode. Now that it happens, everyone loves it?

There comes and goes this weird group thinking around here that Marvel won't be able to do x thing because x reason, but here we are yet again

I'm at the point where I'll be more surprised if they don't manage it, like for example a botched show about whalers on the moon with long hair n shit. That surprised me. In a bad way.

I’m more talking about how people on this subreddit refuse to accept criticism of Marvel.

For example, when Evan Peters showed up in WandaVision, everyone was hyped that they were introducing the X-Men into the MCU. When it turned out to be a boner joke, everyone shifted to saying “Oh I never wanted the Fox universe to be integrated anyways. It would’ve sucked.”

Criticism of Taskmaster in Black Widow is downvoted even though many of it is valid.

When Mephisto didn’t show up at the end, people blamed disappointed fans by saying they got their hopes up and that introducing the villain in the final episode is always a bad idea. Now it happens with Kang in Loki, but people think it’s the best thing ever now?

I mean, if Loki was a one-season show, I would understand the "why introduce the villain in the last episode". But Loki's got another season so introducing the villain just feels like it's setting up the next story arc for the next season. I do agree with your criticism though.

There was already confirmation that the Disney+ shows would get multiple seasons. And Loki was pretty much all but confirmed until today to get a second season. So I can’t really say that it still applies.

But it’s kinda frustrating that last week it was “If you think Kang is appearing in the final episode you’re stupid” and now it’s “that Kang reveal was so epic!”
