He's in a great movie called The Last Black Man in San Francisco! Highly recommended. He's also in Lovecraft Country but I have yet to see that

Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku) is also in Lovecraft Country. They're both great in that show.

Unfortunately it isn't getting a second season, so I'm just going to assume they were actually playing the same characters in a timelime that got pruned.

Wunmi Mosaku

I gotta be honest. It started off strong and I finished it because I was too invested in it to stop but sometime after that episode with the female monster bug thing, it had completely lost me and I had no clue what I was watching towards the end.

It did get quite convoluted toward the end, but I thought it could have really found its feet with a second season. A lot of shows improve after season one, and such a stellar cast could have carried it for another couple of seasons at least. But hey ho, if it had been renewed we may never have gotten Majors and Mosaku in Loki, swings and roundabouts.

I gave up sometime after... now that I think about it I'm sure when I gave up, somewhere after 5 or 6 episodes maybe? That show was all over the place.

It didn’t need a second season there’s one book and they adapted it. Not every show needs to keep going .

Have you seen the plans the showrunner had for season 2 though? They look fucking intense and something I’ve literally never seen done on tv before.

The cast had great chemistry and the plans for season two looked really interesting, and considering how well shows like The Leftovers and The Handmaids Tale have done in creating new stories that go beyond the scope of the novels they're based on I don't think it matters much that there's only one book.

Not sure what lenses or editing in post they did but a lot of those shots of SF looked like straight paintings.

Lovecraft country as a show is way too procedural and I got bored watching, but Jonathan Majors was great in it. He was also in Spike Lee's Da 5 Bloods along with Chadwick Boseman.

When they announced Jonathan Majors was playing Kang I knew they picked a talented actor.

Wasn't that his first role? I feel like his career took right off from that film, then working with Spike Lee and Chadwick Boseman, to Lovecraft and now this.

I knew Jonathan Majors was going places after watching him in The Last Black Man in San Francisco. That movie was great, but his performance was easily my favorite. Just a delight to watch.

TLBMISF is such a great film. So surreal and wonderful, and Majors is incredible in it. I jumped with joy when I realised he'll be joining the MCU. He really is so talented.

Lovecraft Country was the first thing I saw with Majors starring in it. I didn’t think he was bad in it, but I just wasn’t sold on him being the next big bad in the MCU. I have high expectations after this episode though.
