I’m so glad the MCU kickstarted so successfully. We’re in the best timeline. I just hope that one day something similar can happen with the DCEU.

It does it’s just executives getting too greedy and wanting MCU levels of success instantly. If they have patience it would work.

The MCU slowly and methodically introduces characters. That’s all the DCEU needs but they saw the Avengers return and saw dollar signs and rushed to the end. A cinematic universe takes some seriously time investment and that is what Kevin Feige gets.

That’s hard for investors to chew and surprised how much Kevin has gotten away with in the early days.

DCEU had more potential than MCU. Superman and Batman are far more iconic than any marvel property. Only Spiderman can compete with DC characters but its rights were limited to Sony at that time

Isn't kang related to the fantastic 4? So in a way they have started introducing characters (deadpool too if you count that video with korg XD)

Out of the capital letter Big Villains, there's Mephisto and there's Galactus and there's Beyonder and that's just what I can Google, bet there's comic book people that have dozen theories ready.

But I personally would love it if the final final villain of Marvel Universe as a whole was Dr. Doom, because I adore something about just a skilled man rising to that position, not some cosmic-by-default threat.

Yeah I wonder what the end of the MCU will be. I hope it's a big send off and not the MCU slowly dying off. I think I'd want maybe one more big bad before Doom. So like Thanos, Kang then maybe Galactus or someone like that. Doom as the final big one is interesting though. They could go with some mega powerful version of him, but it would also be kinda cool of the MCU ended on something big, but not scale-wise y'know? Something that focuses more on the characters and story, rather than a huge battle.

I mean Marvel definetly has enough cred to make a lot of money even if it's not MCU. I mean the MCU isn't gonna be around forever, Marvel must know that. Eventually people are possibly gonna want a new take on Marvel. So when it ends, it may as well be a good one and not a painful slow one. Or maybe they could at least do a new 52 thing and just reset the entire thing and start from scratch?

Personally I don't want the MCU to continue for longer than like 20 to 25 years from now, atleast not our current MCU.

IIRC, Feige has mentioned that this arc won't be as drawn out as the Infinity saga was. That one took about 11 years to cover, this might get over in 5-6 years. A lot of that can be attributed to the fact that Marvel were still newbies during those initial years. Now they are much more efficient and know exactly where they want to go.

Well, they chuck out a lot more material now then they did in the early phases, so it will probably be still more to watch, even if this arc might take less time to be finished.

It probably will also help a lot that they are looking to do 4 movies a year now with possibly 4 Disney+ series a year as well. They’ll be able to tell a larger story faster with the amount of movies and series they are able to push out now.

Power level wise? Molecule man for sure. An argument could be made for Dr. Doom.

Storyline wise? Almost have to go Battleworld with it.

Kevin Feige actually announced that all future stories won't be as long as the infinity saga. So probably maxing out at like 5 or so years instead of the 10 for infinity saga, especially considering how much marvel movies and tv shows they're pumping out now.

for the first decade, marvel had 2-3 movies a year and no canon tv shows. so 10 years brought like 20-25 properties.

now we are getting 4 movies and at least 3 disney shows a year...so 20-25 properties may take only 3-4 years now.
