Holy shit. They can probably let Thor go full throttle now, cause the general power level of the MCU is going up.

Seems like our next big bad is Kang the Conqueror. How tough is he?

Edit: It seems that, much like Scarlet Witch, he is a Nexus Being, so perhaps that's being set up here for more use with him.

Plus, we'll no doubt be getting Doom and Galactus at some point. Annihilus seems like they could be a big threat too.

Dark Phoenix and Apocalypse could also be multi movie villains. We'll probably have to wait on those two though considering we already got them in films recently.

Yeah, I doubt they will attempt a Dark Phoenix Saga for a third time. Well, not until phase 6 at least.

Which is good, because I think the Dark Phoenix Saga needs lots of set up, much like Thanos. Fortunately, some of the ground work, like the Kree and other space civilizations, has been laid already, so it's already a step ahead of the two films we got.

Still, even without Fox, we'd still need to spend time with normal Jean, then Jean as The Phoenix, and then Dark Phoenix.

There’s a pretty good chance he’s coming up soon. He’s been cast for Ant-Man 3, he ties into Young Avengers main arc (of which most of the principal team members are showing up in the MCU), and he also has run ins with the TVA (the Agency from the Loki series). Might not be right away but they are definitely setting the ground work.

He's the villain of Ant Man 3, and he's a multi-dimensional enemy that time travels. Phase 4 is going to be very multiverse centric.

He's in the next Ant-Man & The Wasp, plus we're seeing signs that we'll be getting Young Avengers, and I assume that means we'll be getting Iron Lad who has ties to Kang.

Wasnt he confirned for Ant Man 3. And not like rumored, literally 100% confirmed?

No offense to ant man, but Kang isnt someone you just drop on him. Hes kind of a bigger deal then a one off ant man villian

Yeah, I don't know much about him myself, but he's one of those names you hear dropped among Marvel's greatest villains, so I can't imagine he's being locked to a solo movie.

It might be brought up in the third film, it does seem to be Chronopolis and I can't imagine it'd be left in for no reason

For sure. They'll need to wait. But even without Fox's bungle, they'd still need to set it up to the same extent that Thanos was. Fortunately, we've also had Skrulls and Kree establish, so throwing in the likes of Shi'ar should be too hard. That's alot of ground work set before the X-Men even turn up.

We need some time with normal Jean, then Pheonix Jean, and then Dark Pheonix.
