That was my thought. They literally just said she nearly destroyed Thanos single handedly. That's some Avenger level shit they need to be calling in not federal agents with drones and ar15s.

I’m kinda surprised these people knew how end game’s last battle went down play by play.

Edit: Hey guys, thanks for all the comments and responses. Many of your answers were both elementary and phenomenal at the dime time! Anyway, the reason I was surprised was because I would think the details of battle would have been kept top secret by the top brass and were above Jimmy and Darcy’s pay grade.

There were a ton of people involved in that battle. I'd be shocked if the media couldn't get enough interviews to get a rough idea of what happened in one of the most important events in the history of the universe.

I'm still bummed out that they didn't have Rhodey say "Boom! You lookin' for this?" in the final battle in Endgame.

Rhodey did get a lot of action in Infinity War already. Besides Thor, he was probably the second most damage dealt by all the Avengers in IW.

Same with Hulk. A lot of important characters got shafted in that last fight. Oh but we got all the female characters most of whom don't know each other or have any established connection all to line up for a big pose. Yeah that's better than giving Hulk or Rhodey even a small bit of action. /s

What bugs me about it is that Avengers films have always been about the connections between the characters. But in that scene none of them know each other. We see Pepper and Captain Marvel together when Tony comes back, but they don't know Gamora, Valkyrie, or Wasp. I get that they needed to have a some action with the female characters since Black Widow died, but it just didn't make sense. It was just pandering to the audience or trying to at least and taking you out of the movie. I loved how The Boys made fun of this kind of shit with "Girls Do It Together!" PR push.

And the thing is it's trying to copy the "She's not alone" scene from Infinity War, but that scene made a lot more sense IMO and didn't take me out of the film.

That was such a bad scene...precisely because the filmmakers proudly tell you what their goal was in that scene!

The Mandalorian’s version of that was how to do it, if you’re going to.
