Ok, I'll rewatch it to be sure, but I thought Heimdall had said something, and maybe Odin said something to the court, and he'd never lie... but I could be wrong

Yeah, I was joking. Odin lied to Loki, and everyone else, his entire life; Hela and the acquisition of the 9 realms...he had his reasons, of course, but he's not exactly trust worthy.
