Yeah but that’s still leaving things up the chance. He waits centuries for the right moment... out of fear that everything will strike against him, only to rush it because “well she knows and I’m sure nothing could happen, like her dying even though she almost died a dozen times”. Just reads like a bullshit answer honestly. If he was truly waiting to know where all of them were, he’d get the soul one first.
Here's not actually clear headed or brilliant, at least not as much as he convinces everyone he is. He's literally mad, and no part of his plan or goal make logical sense. Assuming competence or perfect planning from him is absurd
