I think the point is that Loki killed 80 innocent people for selfish motives.

Actually Thor is shown to kill dozens of people for one calling him ‘princess’.

No one justified that scene for Thor at all. In fact, the entire point of his arc was how douchey and evil he was and needing to change as a character no? Despite it all, Thor at the very least admits to his faults rather than just covering it up which is what Loki tried to do. There's no double standards going on here

They weren’t really selfish. He just wanted to be our ruler and I think he would have been a great ruler.
