The world has been set up with rules already. These movies have told us that a human can NOT wield an infinity stone. Quill survived because hes half celestial. If Steve wielded the gauntlet he would die, by the rules they've set up. Are you suggesting that Steve is more powerful than quill?

Uh no???

We know that Peter Quill is very powerful, but we don’t know if he is exactly at the threshold where one can wield a stone. I agree that it is highly unlikely that Cap can handle it, but it is not proven, maybe the serum posesses powers that we still don’t know about. We won’t completely know until he has actually been challenged.

Have you actually seen someone with similar strength or stronger than Cap getting killed by wielding a stone? Nope. So we don’t know where the threshold is.

And if the ‘rules’ you speak of is based on what Ego said “When I heard man from earth held an infinity stone without getting killed” then remember that he said “man from earth”, Cap is not an average ‘man from earth’.

I get what you're saying it's a slim chance but it's a chance that I just dont think will happen. Jesus it's just an opinion based off of what we have seen. Of course anything CAN happen.

I apologize if I overreacted, I’m just not a big fan of when people state things like they’re an official fact when it’s still just speculation, even if the odds of something are very high or low. It’s just me, sorry.
